A native Baltimorean, Cereta Spencer is a proud product of the Baltimore City Public Schools. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from Morgan State University. Her graduate study included a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science in Hospitality Management from the Baltimore International College. She is also a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA).
Ms. Spencer has more than 20 years of experience in the organizational management, hospitality management and event planning arenas. She is also the managing consultant for Sincerely Cereta, LLC. Innovative Solutions Event Planning and Marketing. Cereta chairs, co-chairs and oversees numerous epic events for non-profit and for profit organizations. She has chaired and co-chaired numerous Suit-A-Palooza benefits raising thousands of dollars for Suited to Succeed.
Ms. Spencer possesses an insatiable passion to serve under-served communities in Baltimore City. Cereta is heavily-involved community activist. She coordinates grassroots community outreach projects, aids women as they transition from economic hardship to gainful employment, leads fundraising activities, assist with homeless outreach and is a student adviser.
Ms. Spencer is a well-respected organizational leader serving on the Board of Directors for the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital, Suited to Succeed, Kids Play USA Foundation and Claybridge Health Education Fund Inc.
